Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 screen won't turn on

[AC Question]

The back light on the screen comes on but nothing else. And also the tablet doesn't seem to turn off even if I hold the power button for more than 10 seconds; as soon as I hit the home button the back light comes on right away again. I've tried to turn it off and then hold both the Power button and the volume up button and do a reset...... but regardless what I do NOTHING ever comes up on the screen..... Help!!!
