Galaxy tab a brand new only wirked for 12 hours now wont hold charge at all

And no noticable damage in anyway. Its beautiful, if would work. LolBrand new galaxy tab a 8.0 32gigs. Recieved a sweet deal on it, with the tmobile just add a line ( data only ) and get the tsblet completely free. I said kool my son will love it and stop ssking for my s10.reciver and unboxed in perfect condition, then 12 hour charge before truning it on. Turned it on and it was killer. Beautiful, screen and device overall. Really snappy also, no noticeable lag, which in sure would change. Lastes about 7 to 12 hours total while teing ro chargewith no positive results on multiple cords and adapters which began with stock first ofcourse. Now wont charge at all saying 0% and cant stay on for more than a few sec. Wat happened? Factory defect or design flaw?
