Has anyone check the specs on samsung website about the Galaxy Tab for AT&T, It includes more internal memory. It says on the spec sheet 2gb User Memory + 16gb Internal Memory. It also has a 3axis Accelerometer Gyro sensor! Waiting for the AT&T Version plus I probably dont have to walk out with a data plan for at least 1 month like T-Mobile. They are handling this device just like the iPad.

The sprint tab doesn't have 16gb internal storage memory, its on micro sd card. I compared all the us version tab and saw the difference.

I don't see why they didnt put any reason to buy one out the other besides memory
No sprint 4g etc

Actually, I think its wrong/misleading. I have 2gb internal (user memory) and 16gb sdcard (internal). I bet you thats what they mean. I seriously doubt 3 companies would have 2gb internal and 1 would have 16gb internal... Especially tmobile.

You might be right. I just checked that page and they definitely list it as 2gb+16gb plus up to 32gb microsd. Very strange...

The T-Mobile and AT&T versions are the only ones with 16GB built-in with the addition of an available MicroSD slot which is empty. The Sprint and Verizon versions don't have the 16GB built-in memory but include a 16GB MicroSD card. That's why I picked the T-Mobile version, so I could add a 16GB card for a total of 32GB of storage.

Could the difference in memory have to do with CDMA versus GSM. Perhaps the CDMA radio takes up more space. If I recall from the specs the CDMA version also weighs slightly more.

The owners manual on the T-mobile version says it only supports a 16gb MicroSD card, but it does have 16gb of internal space which is partitioned out, it's listed like this in the settings

External SD card
Total space 7.40GB
Available space 5.42GB

Internal memory
Total space 12.66GB
Available space: 12.48GB

Internal tablet storage
Available space 1.67GB

I assume the latter is for applications that get installed because of the limited use I've made of the Internal memory. I have a 16GB card on order to replace the 8 I had left over that was pre-installed in the EVO and also was replaced with 16GB.

I think that's likely inaccurate. I installed a 32GB MicroSD card in my T-Mo version and it works fine.

It would seem as if the ATT version is the way to go with the extra 16gb. I plan on getting one then just tethering it to my rooted EVO. I am also going to root it, and flash it with the European firmware. Then when out of the country I will just throw a prepaid SIM in it and use it as a phone as well.

I had the Sprint version and now have the AT&T version and until I read your post I thought maybe I was crazy because the AT&T version does seem lighter.

can anyone confirm if google navigator is on the att model? Usually ATT does not allow it.

The att version that I have doesn't have the camera hard button thats on the sprint and verizon version. But having internal 16gb seems like the way to go.
