[Galaxy Tab E] Downloaded pictures are not being saved

[AC Question]

Any picture that I download from browser or email does not show in gallery, Google photos app or any other app. When I go into the file Explorer the pics don't show up in the download folder and if I go into download history it shows up there but if I tap the pic it says image doesn't exist. I am using a Samsung tab e and I have tried restarting the tablet

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock browser, or a 3rd party browser? Are you downloading from your email in the Email app, or from a webmail interface in the browser?
