Is the 7-inch screen too small?

I think the size is just right for its use. It doesn't claim to be a replacement for a laptop, but it is the perfect size for traveling, and it fits in a pocket or a coat with ease. Works well for watching videos, listening to music, email, and I use LogMeIn Ignition for work, so I haven;t had to pull out my laptop since I got the tab. It has been very handy. Maybe not for typing huge spreadsheets or documents, but I haven't tried anything bigger that a page or so. Who knows?

I have a friend with an iPad, and I feel that it;s size makes it clumsy to use. However, depending on what you need it for, it may be right.

Just my two cents.

I owned 2 iPads before switching to the Galaxy Tab and selling the iPads on ebay. The size is perfect.

It is too small in the memory department. I have more than 16GB just in music files. Also, the way the memory is formatted cannot support files larger than 4GB, which rules out a lot of my DVD rips unless I re-size the file.

Oh yeah, and it is far too big in price. I can get a great device from a competitor that has larger amount of storage available for only about 60% the price. And that storage can handle files larger than 4GB.

This display has a bit better resolution, but there is too much price premium on the few additional features over the other one.

Why would you even rip a dvd that large just to watch it on a 7 or 10 screen? Isnt that kind of ridiculous? Do you drag around a 5.1 system as well? How many hours of music is 16GB and why would you need that with you at all times? Those are pretty petty complaints for a very mobile device. It's about the entire package, and the price matches just fine especially since we've all been paying the same for smartphones for a long time now.

It's perfect paperback size for reading, and if I need more than 16 gig of something then I can hot swap sd cards. And I transferred Harry Potter 6 from bluray and it's on my memory card at under 4 gig. I say run more compression and set the resolution to something closer to native for the tab.

Hello I am new here. I live in Denmark. I am very satisfied with my Tab and its size. It is just so handy. When I read on it, I often forget that it is a computer :) I use it for nearly everything instead of using my pc.

I have had several Palms in the past, the last being a Palm Tungsten C. On the Palms I wrote with Graffiti (it can be found in Market), which I liked very much.
Now I can write with Graffiti again. I never use the onscreen keyboard.
