Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2: Battery Drain

My 12.2 will go to 80% from 100% in 3-4 hrs w/o being used & NO screen time. Settings says all drainage is due to Android OS!!?? I'm running 2 other devices on 4.4.2(Kit-Kat), my Nexus 7(2012) shows over 80% after 2 DAYs off charge. My GPS is off, any ideas? Help!!

Have you received an update to the device? Meaning, have you gone from say, 4.1 to 4.3?

The 12.2 is on 4.4.2 just like the Nexus 4 & 7. It came that way, no updates.

I put the 12.2 on Power Saving mode & this helped some, but it's still way too battery hungry for a device that has 9,500mamps. Android system & android OS are using more power than the screen!?

Does it sit idle a lot?

As long as mine is on standby, even aftr and hour off the charger, it shows 99% battery when I start using it. Some background process must be using power.
