Galaxy Tab S8, S8 plus and Ultra orders.

ordered both on the day preorders started - my devices are still holding to the feb 25th delivery date.

Nice. I keep checking Samsung hoping the delivery date changes back to 2/25. I will be out of town on the 8th and I was wanting to take it with me.

I ordered one on the 12th then cancelled because I really don't need it. I ordered again yesterday, and have a delivery date of Feb. 25. I'm trading in my bronze S7+ for the pink gold S8+. (Insert sarcastic eye roll and deep sigh)

Just had an email from DPD saying my parcel will be delivered on the 17th.

90% sure it's the tab S8.

I ordered the S8 Ultra 256 and got a Feb 25 delivery date. Still holding.

1. I want it BECAUSE it is bigger. For years tablets have been getting smaller. A few years ago Verizon lost my tablet and sent me a new replacement that was smaller. I hated that. Then they did it again a couple years later with a slightly smaller tablet. Went from there (S3) to the S7+ because of the bigger screen. Got one in both wifi and 5g.

2. I don't understand how Samsung has so much trouble when launching a new device. Its like they don't expect people to want them. When I ordered my Fold 3 it took months to get. They cancelled my order twice because they couldn't get me the phone. Had similar problems with the S20. Had to settle for less memory and a different color. While ordering the Tab S8 Ultra I had the same issues many did with checkout. Took hours of trying but got it ordered the 1st day of preorders. I'm just waiting for the ball to drop and something go wrong. I am really hoping they get it right. But to halt preorders because they have sold out? What a joke! They never learn! And I do beleove Samsung makes a great product, but their customer service is beyond horrible!

3. I only wish there was a 5g version available with the ultra. But its not a deal breaker. I will trade in my wifi S7+ and still have mobile hotspots on bother my Fold 3 and my S7+ 5g. I was looking at a new laptop and it wouldn't have had 5g anyway so... The deal with the backlit keyboard is awesome so I paid less than $600 for the tab ultra. Not bad.

You do realize there is a global chip shortage to blame for the long wait times right? Samsung can make all the phones they want but they're worthless without a SOC to power them. Lol

Yay, looks like I'll be getting my S8+ tablet on Tuesday! At least according to FedEx. Still no word on the phone, and I ordered that first.

Yes, I realize about the shortage. But the issues Samsung has had with pre orders and new devices pre dates that.

That's 3 days early! Good for you! I can only hope my ultra gets here sooner. My Feb 25 date is still holding in my order page. At least it hasn't changed to a later date like some have said theirs have done. Fingers crossed.

The only bad thing about getting a new device is setting it up. Even with the swap app from Samsung, its a long process to get everything just right. Lol

The S8 Ultra was OOS when I pre-ordered my phone. Too late to cancel it too now.

Sucks i'll miss out on the 25% bundle deal...still might just pre-order the tablet solo. Is the trade-in "bonus" only during pre-order or there's a chance it could stay for a little while? so I could use the $200 eCertificate too. Right now they'll give me $250 for my Tab A 2010.

It is clear that more people order the S8/+ than the S7 versions and the Ultra is a major hit. Also before the phones went on pre order there were multiple sites reporting that the S22 Ultras would take months to get for some. Thankfully I have always gotten my phones on release day or better being one of the 1st to pre order. I try not to wait around so I don't have to watch everyone enjoy their new toy while I'm sitting around in a corner waiting to get mine lol.

The trade-in amounts may or may not stay. Hard to tell, but as you stated you can wait on the 200 and then try to order. Good thing is you should get 90 days to use the 200 which should be around mother's day(usually have a sale).

S22U says 2/22 delivery and Tab 8+ says 2/25 after initially telling me 4/1. Good times.

Cancel button is gone and I'm still set for 2/25, but no FedEx info. The keyboard cover has moved to 3/1.

If I were to pre-order it today, when would Samsung charge my card?

Thinking if it's not til close to ship date and the trade-in deal is still in place when I get my eCertificate I can always cancel this order and re-do it.

My Tab S8 Ultra 512GB is arriving early on Tuesday, Feb 22. I just received the FedEx shipping notice! My order on Samsung originally said March 8 for delivery. This is a nice surprise!
