Galaxy watch green dots which become bright

Was using my watch when all of a sudden green dots started appearing all over the screen and it would become very bright. Nothing else would work. I turned the watch off and reset the watch after it powered back on. Feels like the display stopped working but everything else was working

Weird. Was it on an app? Maybe a corrupt watch face
