Galaxy watch software bug?

Got the Galaxy watch a week ago and noticed that when I scroll through messages, settings, contacts (or anything with the scroll bar) it looks a bit distorted. By 'scroll bar', I mean the bit where, when you scroll it shows you what is selected. I compared it to my Gear 3 and it's really odd.

I restarted and reset it, and it would go back to its crisp looking scroll bar and then a few minutes after it will return to it's distorted self. I even tested out different brightness settings but it still looks the same. Also, when receiving notifications from gmail it seems to be glitching.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is it possibly a software problem. Mine is on 4.0.0.1.

Scrolling shouldn't look distorted, it never did on my GW. I think it is a hardware issue. I'd return the watch if I were you and have it replaced.

I just updated my Gear 3 to Tizen 4.0.0.2 and I am having this problem. May I ask what version is yours? Is it possible to be a software bug? I went to the samsung store and they had no idea what it was and told me I had to leave it to see if they could fix it.

That's weird. If it indeed is a software issue after all, you could try to give it a Master Reset (apparently not as thorough as a reset that you get through the menu).

This is how you do it on both the Galaxy Watch and the Gear 3.
1.Turn the Galaxy Watch off.
2.Press and hold the Power key (the bottom key) until REBOOTING displays at the bottom of the screen.
3.Press the Power key three times quickly until the Select REBOOT MODE screen displays.
4.Press the Power key several times to highlight ' Recovery'.
5.Press and hold the Home key for three seconds to select, until the Galaxy Watch begins rebooting.
