So correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see anything about a yearly upgrade service like Apple has announced yesterday. Anyone hear anything about it?

I didn't see anything about it yet.

Re: Galaxy yearly upgrade program

I suspect the Big 4 carriers will offer leasing/early upgrade options for the GS7's, as they have with the GS6's. Even Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program requires phone activation on the Big 4 carriers. Sometimes the deals are better when leasing/buying directly with the carriers than using Apple's program, such as including significant gift cards or credits, which I've never seen offered in the iPhone Upgrade Program.

I'm on Verizon and was hoping for the Samsung service cause I have to wait every two years or trade in my phone and pay like $300. It's a rip off

According to Verizon CSR if you opt for the monthly payments then you can upgrade yearly. Turn in old phone get new. You just start paying the new monthly amount if it is different

Correct me if I'm wrong but is that only for UK?

Plus you have to pay a large sum. I can upgrade now also but would have to pay $325 I think it is. Just to pay off my current phone. And that's with trading it in.

Because Sprint has there own leasing arm.

Lease:*GS7 $25.99/mo./line for 24 mos. GS7 edge $30.50/mo./line for 24 mos. For well-qualified customer with new-line activation. 50% off promotion isn't reflected during checkout. Bill credit of $13 on GS7 or $15.25 on GS7 edge applied w/in 3 invoices. Credit ends at 24 mos. or upgrade whichever occurs first. Does not apply to discounted phones.*GS7:*©2016 Samsung Electronics America, Inc. Samsung, Samsung Galaxy, Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Samsung Gear VR and Samsung Pay are trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. Use only in accordance with law. Other company and product names mentioned may be trademarks of their respective owners. Screen images simulated. Appearance of devices may vary.

So, does the $13 bill credit reduce the monthly to $12.99 for the GS7, or is $25.99 the reduced payment?
