Does anyone think samsung will take trade ins on the fold 2 this time around?

Yeah thats where I am at too. My money is on no enhanced trade values for the Fold 2. I cant bring myself to 2000 plus tax and I can buy tech gear with the best of them. The other play would be to wait for the used market to form.

Exactly ..if it's a good sign last year Z flip was offering $410 I believe for trade in and this pre order was offering $650 for the Z flip 5G ...I'd go with the Fold 2 for that trade in value ...

Boy I sure hope a 1300 z flip is worth more than 650 on trade. I have an s20 ultra. I'm pulling for 800!

First one was almost $2000 ... Sept 1st I believe we shall find out ..rumors it will come in $100 cheaper than last one I don't think so myself but we shall see

Haha too much I guess they didn't want taking away from the Note Ultra ... I did hit reserve and they sent email saying you're IN ... hope they throw in something extra gonna needed it for the price point ..

I hit reserve as well. It did ask if I was going to trade anything in. I believe I'll trade my old Note9 in.

I had told myself after getting the LG V60 that I was gonna hold off for a awhile on something new, then they just HAD to drop the Fold 2. I was interested in the Fold 1, but decided to wait till 2nd generation, and now it's just around the corner!

If fact I think having the V60 might have pushed me toward a Fold even more. I love the dual screen of the V60, but I would love to stretch things a across both screens, but can't get used to the big bezel in the middle.

Ok here is my dilemma: I can get a note 20 ultra for 300 or 10 bucks a month using the ATT trade in deal. The trade in is incredibly liberal so I can grab an iPhone 7 from swapp for 150 bucks and trade it for 1000 in credits. Or I can wait for what I really want the fold 2. If the math was fold2 for 2000 or note ultra for 1300, I'd go fold. But the math may be 2000 versus 450. That's a tough pill to swallow. Does anyone think samsung or carriers will offer any deals on the fold 2 other than financing?

Hmmm ..I don't see carrier deals on the Fold but hope I'm wrong ...that deal is a good one indeed ...best case I would see Samsung offer good deal trade in for recent Samsung phone for Fold ...either way if you want the fold be prepared to pay ...
