What gallery app does everyone use and what do you like about it. I am not a fan of the stock app and the way it puts things together. I am looking for a little more folder customization and I still want to be able to create collages. Thanks

Typically the gallery folders are created by the app you're saving a photo from. This would be the same for any other gallery app. What exactly are you looking for in a gallery app?

I think I probably just have to play around with the folders and what not then. I didn't realize it creates new folders and what not

Thanks I am giving it a try now. I do see it does have the collage potential!

Good luck. Google Photos is utterly indispensable for me. It is probably the best app I use anywhere. It has lots of great editing tools, many different view options, the sharing and folder options are perfect, and the best part: The universal cross platform availability. Just make sure you set it to Auto backup your pics. The browser site is great to edit and view on PC’s, and the iPad app is great too. Just log in everywhere with your Google login and you are set.

I use Samsungs Gallery app. I like the way that I can control how many folders are in each row. Pinch in on a row to have more folders or out to have less folders. Same with how many and how big the pictures are in each folder. I like having only two pictures in each row so I can actually see the picture without opening it.

I had no idea this could be done. I learn new things every day.lol

I forgot to mention that also, if you slide your finger from the left edge of the screen to the right, it will bring in a pane that shows all your photo albums and you can drag and drop pictures right from there or switch to albums from there.

That's neat. Thanks

It's not really surprising. Samsung doesn't really tell all the features in the app. I only found out years ago when I got my first Note which was the Note 4.

I watched all kinds of videos back then to learn all the features the phone had back then.

That was news to me, thanks 👍🏻😁
