Gallery Crash?

Hello everyone, my Nexus 7 32gb has worked fine for months, until it started to crash my gallery app. Everytime I open Gallery or the Camera Launcher or even the Gallery Video Player, it crashes. Is there a fix for this, because it is kind of annoying. Thank you

there is a database i think its media services something that is likely the cause. it catalogs the files, picture you have on the device and it must have gotten corrupt. a app called currents by google did it to be. i stopped the service and deleted the data cache and turn the service back on and turned my xoom off and then back on and left it alone for a couple hours and it rebuilt everything by the next day. i had a lot of pics needless to say i uninstalled currents.
