Gallery events looks like old video reel

Just switched from BB to an HTC One. Loving it so far. I've been trying out the camera features. Yesterday I took a few photos and checked out the events. Looked good and works as I have read about. Today, took a few zoes, a few dog pics. Looked great. When I view them separately they are perfect. When I go to events, the event compilation looks like an old film reel with lines and squiggly marks. Can anyone help? I am lost. Thanks.

its one of the events "themes".

can't remember now if its the only theme in sense 5.0 but there are others in sense 5.5- as well as "highlights".

Can you tell me how to switch themes? I couldn't find a setting for it.

i dont think you can. not even in sense 5.5.


you can always switch to album mode if you don't want to see them.

Never mind. I see now that the music theme also changes the style of the highlights. A lot to learn here.
