Gallery Lag

I have a rooted, stock, t-mobile note 2, with the latest LTE update. Ever since I've got the phone though, I've had a problem where when I access the gallery from another app (like I'm in texting, and want to share a picture, so it launches the gallery), it takes forever (FOREVER!!!!) to load. If I just go to the gallery by itself it's fine, but going from any other app results in hang ups and I just usually have to not do what I wanted to. Anyone else experience this, and are there any fixes? Thanks.

Have you tried doing the opposite? I mean go in to the gallery choose the picture and then choose the option to send as message? Either way causes me no problems. Are you you using an sd card to store your pictures?

Weird, mine doesn't do that... it lags a bit when loading all albums into the previews but not taking FOREVER like you say... You're rooted, so might it be something wrong with your ROM? I'm still non-rooted, so mine's on Sammy's stock version (4.1.2).

When I go in the gallery first it does take a little time to load, but no where near as bad. That's usually what I end up doing, but I still have the habit of hitting share within whichever app I'm in.

Like I said, it's the stock ROM that was just released (with LTE) it's just rooted. No customization.
