Does anyone know how to delete/hide all those albums except the ones I want to keep?

It's starting to be chaos in my gallery. And I really don't like chaos.

Some things my that are related to my navigation even pop up..

I would connect your phone to your PC and get rid of the pics you don't really need. Or, sign up for a cloud service, and upload them there. Then, delete the unneeded ones off your phone.

That's my old phone folder.
If can't get rid of these folders because they're my gps's and files that are on my extsd which I play thru Es file manager.
I just want my taken pictures and videos in here not every image that's stored on my phone..

You can put a .nomedia (make a blank text file and name it .nomedia) file in the folders that you don't want to show up. I believe that is the only way to do what you want with the stock gallery. The other alternative would be to download a gallery app like QuickPic and this will allow you to hide folders.

That will work but you might just want to "Hide" the albums you don't want to see.

Go to the "Albums" view in the Gallery, long press an album to select it, press the Menu button and select "Hide Items". To keep my Gallery manageable I regularly delete screen shots etc. I don't want any more and then hide any folders that show up due to some app I installed.

Also - if you want to go the "nomedia" route there is an app that makes that easier - try this: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...d=com.studiokuma.nomedia&hl=en&token=y0EFyZ5m

I used it to stop podcasts, audio books etc from showing up in the default audio player (I have specific apps I use for those things).
