What does performance mode do for games compared to Balanced or Power Saving?

Power saving slows the CPU down the most. Balanced is a balance between performance and saving power. Performance is running the CPU at maximum speed.

But i realised the performance mode didnt say anything about the CPU so i changed mine to game mode instead
