Angry birds is regular. Half the time its perfect & the other half of the time, its choppy. Just depends on your phone. I haven't really played to many other games. I want to though.
Pac-Man and YooNinja work really good.

I have a ton, super dynamite fishing, bejewled 2, plants vs zombies, peggle, fruit ninja, guns and glory, zenonia 2, any astraware games, just to name a few. All that I named work very well.

Guess I should mention that I'm overcooked. That could be a reason angry birds is smooth. Plus it's the ad free version

Most games run fine with a custom ROM esp. if it's overclocked to 750mhz+
I've used Angry Birds (all versions, ad-free), Cyberlords, Robo Defense, Tower Raiders and I guess that's all the more demanding games.

Plants vs zombies ran fine before I rooted. That's weird.

I use the free versions of games, like free angry birds...so I get ads, BUT you can get the Adfree app...if you are rooted, and it will remove the ads from all your free ad-filled games.

If you stick to a froyo ROM Plants vs Zombies works fine, it doesn't seem to play nice on any gingerbread based ROMS for some reason, could be due to the way its coded or something.

In GB I had to hit the home key about 1/2 way through the first loading screen then hit the shortcut again and the game would play ok for awhile. After awhile of playing it might seem to glitch but doing the home key trick fixes it for me.
