Gaming performance???

Hi everyone. I have just bought myself a HTC One m8 and I am not normally a mobile gamer by any means and only play a couple (I'm addicted to family guy at the minute) but noticed the HTC one m8 struggles a bit with the graphics and was wondering if anyone else found similar issues?

I've played the same game on the Galaxy Note 3 (One's processor is newer) and the S5 (internals are the same asi live in the UK so my S5 had the snapdragon processor) without any issues at all. I made the switch to a One m8 because i'd grown tired of samsungs software bogging down otherwise powerful phones but now it appears that although touchwiz is awful aesthetically at least its optimized a lot better than Sense.

Honestly never had an issue with any gaming at all. That's unfortunate though. How long have you had the phone?

Touchwiz optimized better than Sense ? Seriously ? That's a serious joke but on topic, that's weird , I have a lot of graphic intensive games and I have not had lag at all, I'm talking about games like DH4, Asphalt, NOVA3, OAC.

Search for the game "family guy" in the Play Store and recent reviews shows that the latest updates has some issues .

I haven't seen any lag on my phone, even from the 3D games like Dead Trigger 2 and Gunship. I tried the Family Guy game a bit, but I got bored with it a while back and removed it. I don't recall any lag, though. My fiancé has the Note 3 and loves the Family Guy game. She said she hasn't noticed any lag, but it's been force closing on her after the last update. So my guess is it's likely the Family Guy game itself and not your phone.

Only play two games really, HomeRun Battle 3D and Fifa 14. Never had any issues besides EA's horrible force closes, ALL THE TIME!!!!

Maybe it is just my device then or the game hasn't been optimized properly for my phone. Hope it does get sorted out though as i absolutely love this phone. The hardware and software are streets ahead of samsung, just goes to show being the best selling product doesn't always make you the best option on the market

Nope, however I think I might have to as im only getting just under 3 and a half hours of screen on time a day,kind of expected a little better from it

I have the Sprint M8 and i have noticed some significant lag in Mad Skills Motocross 2. It only happens once at the beginning of a race and lasts for about 5-10 seconds then clears up. Anyone else play that game and have that happen?
