Gaming?

Ok, the X4 seems to check all the boxes for me except plastic back (love the plastic feeling, not a fan of metal backs). But...

I use my phone for gaming, ie Angry Birds 2. Motorola phones seem to run toasty if used heavily. My old Moto X Pure would routinely hit 115F, my G4 108F. My wife's S7 Edge can play all day at 95F. No case in all cases.

Also, is the X4 too slippery for no case use?

Any feedback?

Got one. After 30 min gaming it's 95F at most, in line with wife's s7 edge.

More than likely you will find it too slippery to use without a case. As far as heat, mine only heats up when turbo charging. Slower chargers don't heat it up at all, so it must be an issue with the sheer volume of electrons being excited all at once on Turbo power. gaming has not been a noticable source of heat for me.

If your not keen on cases and prefer plastic backs, how about a skin? Add a bit of texture to the back without adding thickness
