gaps between songs where there shouldn't be one

Hi,
Is there a way to eliminate the gaps that you hear between songs when there shouldn't gaps? I have mixes where it plays continuously when played from CD but when I rip to PC and transfer to my phone I get the gaps.

Welcome to Android Central! What app are you using to play your music? Google Play Music is supposed to support gapless playback: Google Play Music updated with gapless playback support | Android Central.

A quick search came up with Shuttle Music Player, which says it supports gapless playback as well.

Thanks for the welcome... I had been using the Music app that was on the phone but will give Shuttle a try. I stopped using the Google Play music app because I couldn't figure out where it stored my music and I wanted to store it on my mSDc.
