GB 2.3.3-Liberty

So I Have been using Gingerbread 2.3.3 rooted for about a week now on my Droid X. I enjoy it but I have hear so many great things about Liberty ROM that I want to try it out. Is there anyway to flash liberty over gingerbread or do I have to SBF back to stock and then flash liberty?

To use a Liberty Froyo ROM, like 1.5 or 2.0, you will need to SBF back. There are Liberty Gingerbread nightly builds that you can load and have both.

SBF back to Froyo. Load Liberty 2.0. Buy the $5 Liberty Toolbox Donate. Install LibertyGB nightlies.

I hate to direct out from the AC forums, but you really need to hit up DroidForums for Liberty support and install info.

you don't have to SBF back any more. Just download the liberty tool kit from the market and go to the ROM manager (there's a ROM manager in liberty took kit, not the app that we've always used). There's a version in there that you can flash over 2.3. That's how i did it a few days ago.

That. There is a full 0.4 version in the toolbox (donate) now that will get you to gbread from froyo.

Just download, then wipe data/cache then install. Make a backup too.

I'm on nightlies 0.3, where do you see 0.4?

It's in the toolbox. It's been there since last night. I got it around 8:30 central.

Has anybody tried Apex Alpha 2 vs. Lib nightlies? I always had issues with Liberty on Froyo, but no denying it was a beautiful rom. I'm on Apex Alpha right now and it sure doesn't run like an Alpha, but I was wondering if anyone had any comparisons for me.

Well this was a nice update to 0.4 Did the wipe and was greeted by a very nice boot anim and yellow icons, very nice. No more fails from DroidPirate,lol time to play.

Is there a lLiberty swf available? I'm boot looped and dont have access to bootstrap. When I try fron stock recovery, I keep getting "no signature..
