I've been having issues where the Accuweather app refuses to update on the Gear even when hitting the circular arrow "reload" function. I've tried messing with the weather setting in Gear Manager as suggested elsewhere, but here the settings "wheel" doesn't yield any response on my phone.
To ensure I had the latest SW version of gear Manager, I uninstalled it from my phone and re-installed it from Google Play. I also reset my Gear (holding the button for >7 seconds).
The Gear and phone are working normally except the home screen (weather clock) on the gear reads, "Tap here to use location info on mobile phone" below the clock and date. Tapping "here" yields no response on the Gear. However it does wake the screen on the phone to the lock screen.
If I change the clock display through the Gear Manager to "Dual Clock", Gear reads, "Tap here to add a city". Tapping changes the phone screen to the city list. So this seems to be working normally.
Best I can tell, the Accuweather app is the problem even though it had working and syncing up until 4/28/2016; I bought the Gear in February 2016.
By removing and re-adding a couple of cities to the Accuweather app on the phone I got the Gear to sync with the phone. However, after a couple of hours, it's again unresponsive to the "reload" arrows - it just keeps "reloading".
