gear 2 neo pedometer help

Is there a way I can have my phone act as the pedometer in s - health instead of the watch. Not sure if the pedometer will kill the battery life. I would like the watch to do heart rate and sleep and all that good stuff except for the pedometer. Thanks in advance.

Pedometer doesn't use that much battery power.

Don't know of it deactivates all, but in s health go to pedometer, then click in the menú button, and then in select devices (or something like that). There you will be given the option of using the phone or the watch.
