Gear 2 Neo S Voice issue?

Hello,

I've had my gear 2 neo for a couple months and its paired with my Note 3 AT&T.
One thing I have noticed thats really strange and I don't understand. If I put my phone in my pocket (or the other room) and try and use svoice on my gear I always get the "I'm Sorry I Didn't Catch That". But if I take my phone and put it on the table in front of me it works fine. It seems like svoice on the gear is using the mic on the phone to hear my request. However if I make a call or do a voice memo it picks up perfectly from my gear.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Every once in a while, my S-Voice (Gear 2 Neo) glitches out and gives me the same "I'm Sory I Didn't Catch That.". A quick restart of the watch corrects it 100% of the time.

Yeah I reboot my phone and watch regularly, simply put svoice on my watch will NEVER work if the phone itself isn't within listening range. Very odd. But again I know the mic on the watch works because the phone and voice memos work fine.

I tried this with my Gear 2 Neo this morning. Knowing my phone was in the bedroom and I was in the living room where there was no way my phone could pick up my voice, I used S voice on my watch to call my wife's phone. I wasn't even close enough to my phone to not need to enter the pin on my watch. S-voice worked and called my wife's phone.

I rebooted the watch again and THIS time it seems to work. So maybe before I was rebooting and then taking a while before I tested and the issue resurfaced. But as of now the reboot seems to have fixed it.
