Well this is going to suck if I'm going to have to go out and purchase a "regular" charging brick. All of mine are fast charging capable. But that could very likely be the issue. Maybe I'll try charging it in my car to see what happens.I got mine yesterday. Mine would also not turn on at first, but the instructions say it must be charged before it will turn on. I'm guessing they ship them out with 0% battery?
Also, I could not get it to charge with any of my Samsung fast charge bricks - I had to use an older non-fast charging brick and it worked.
edit - I don't have a memory card for the 360 yet, but thought it was pretty cool I could get live feed streamed to my phone. So essentially it can be used as a 'spy camera' as long as your phone is in range haha. I may test this out later on my kids ;-)
My Gear 360 just arrived today. Sadly I didn't get home before my apartment's front office closed. So it's sitting on a shelf a couple hundred feet away from me, and I can't get at it. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning.
So I'm curious about one thing in particular: does anyone think it's worth it to install an SD card? I'm hoping I can just have it tethered to my Note 8 at all times and directly save my photos and videos there. Is that possible? Or does it need to save media locally and sent to the Note 8 via a file transfer?
Make sure you get a SD card for it before Saturday; can't do anything without oneI cannot wait to get my phone and camera. I had it shipped to my vacation destination based on the original ship date. I hope my camera is not a dud because I want to video a wedding with it on Saturday. Hope you all like your cameras. I get to see mine later today.
Mine was dead too, plugged it into my Note 8 charger and it charged right up no problem.
Keep adjusting the power cable near the 360.I've tried charging mine for 4 days, in various ways, with various chargers and it's as dead as dead can be.
