Funny thing, I plugged it into my batter charger which has a 1amp port and it began to charge. Unplugged it and plugged it into my regular fast charge brick and charged fine. It's just weird.

I read on another forum that if it's not charging with a wall charger to plug it into your PC or laptop. This was the case with mine as well and after it gets some juice from the PC or laptop the wall charger works just fine now.

Well this is going to suck if I'm going to have to go out and purchase a "regular" charging brick. All of mine are fast charging capable. But that could very likely be the issue. Maybe I'll try charging it in my car to see what happens.

I used a fast charger, that's all I have

Whelp still nothing. I'm a little disappointed, I was really looking forward to trying it out. Who knows how long Samsung will take getting me a replacement.

Have you tried charging it with a PC or laptop. Mine was DOA also and wouldn't charge with any wall charger. I just connected it to my laptop with the included cord and it charged up. Now it works just fine with any wall charger.

Mine was the same way tried all cables but the one thing that worked was plugging into my laptop. The trick is that you have to basically have a trickle charge to get it to wake up and charge. What u need is something like 1amp it cant be higher. I left mine on there for 20mins before i saw the charging light. Some people have been able to get it to charge with a power bank but again it has to be on the slow end 1amp. Good luck and of course you can always buy one say at best buy and return the other one

Find one of those power strips that has a USB charging port. Plug it in that, and it'll start charging instantly. Leave it for 5 minutes, and then you can charge it like normal with the charger it came with. I tried everything, and this was the only thing that worked

Got mine today. plugged it directly into wall charger...... instant red light. An hour later, it's green. I'm glad I didnt have any issues with it.

Lucky! Mine is sitting in the corner of my sectional borderline about to fall in being useless.

Mine charged right up without a hitch on a dual port QC 2.0 charger. My biggest issue is I can't get my fingers out of the frame no matter how I hold it. I have an old selfie stick lying around that has a tripod screw. I guess I'll give that a shot lol.

do yo know the tripod screw size? thank you. I have two and a mono. hoping it will work. I also have light stands I could use. it looks pretty light.
