I bought the S8+ not for a silly Fingerprint Sensor or any Biometrics module. Simply impressed by the Screen, coming from the Note 4 it is a worthy (not Note worthy) upgrade.

I do a lot of Photography and am really hoping to try out the Gear 360. THIS was one of the features that sold me. The ability to stream live Panoramic (Photosphere-style) video and experience on the Gear VR.

I believe it is released the same time the S8(+) goes on general sale. Anyone else intrigued by it? Please discuss…

I can't speak to the gear 360. But I have a 360fly 4k, and editing and posting to YouTube is a serious PITA. 4k video requires some pretty robust hardware (I bought a $500 video card just to make processing times bearable) and then standard editing software requires some knowledge of correctly encoding back into a spherical environment as they don't support spherical video natively last I checked. The results are still cool, but my point is don't expect to do much editing on your phone. And do research editing before you dive in.
