Gear fit 2 and note 7 replacement question

on the gear fit 2 settings >> device >> light reset
and it deleted my watchface i had to install it again. but the other settings on the watch stayed the same

In case you don't know (I didn't)...a light touch on the power key brings you to the settings menu.
