Android Central Question
My Gear Fit 2 was working fine with my Samsung S6 but I could not get it to work with my new S9 so I tried a reset.
Tried the light and hard factory resets several times but keep getting hung up at the same place.
During the reboot the device asks me to swipe left, right, up and down and push the buttons. I get to a screen where it states "Almost there. Cover the screen to turn it off"
Covering the screen will NOT turn it off and I can't clear this message nor do anything else with the Fit 2.
I changed the device clock face using my phone and the new face showed up on the Fit 2 and I can faintly make out that it is connected via BT.
I've had the Fit 2 for 2 years and I may be wrong but I don't think it has a light sensor in it.
Anyone know how to get past this road block?
