I've tried switching between the 3 earbud tips and running the fit test I always get a failure. If the right fails and left works, I adjust the right and it will pass but then immediately the left fails. I've never been able to get a proper for with any of the 3. I bought an aftermarket set and run into the same issue. Never had an issue with Pro 2. What are people doing for a proper fit?

Problem is, I can use the tips and immediately get a "good fit" test but a minute later, says poor fit. I can't get the fit to stay.

I'm not sure how much I'd rely on what the Wear app says about "good fit." While I haven't yet bought the Pro3s, both sets of my Pro2 fit fine based on how they feel in my ears and whether or not they stay in my ears. Use what feels right and secure.

UPDATE: I just got the Buds3 Pro (long story) and have one ear with a good fit and one with poor. I can't say for sure, but it seems that the chimes/tones the app plays during the fit test has sort of a sonar quality...testing for fitness. In my case, I've had 3 reconstructive surgeries in my left ear and one in my right. Both inner ears are physically Frankenstein quality. However, my right ear (poor fit) is especially sketchy. that's my theory.

I haven't had surgeries but keeping a good fit is difficult. I've messed around and am getting better fits but seems like over time (15-30 minutes of wear) they seem to work themselves "loose". I then need to refit them. Maybe I'm expecting too much. But compared to the Pro2 and my son's airpods, the fit does not stay. 🤷‍♂️

I'm alternating between my Buds2 Pro and Buds3 Pro. Yes, the fit on the 3 seems to work loose. The 2 is much more secure. fwiw, my surgeries were inner ear...nothing to do with the physical presentation of the ears.

UPDATE: apparently, the Wear app decided today that I had a good fit in both ears. stay tuned for more of this thrilling suspense 😂
