I was able to pair it to my G4, cut l but it also required downloading a couple Samsung apps in Play for full integration.

Do any of you have the little gear fit 2 icon in the status bar like mine, it wasn't on there but I started messing with the gear app and it showed up and now I don't know how to get rid of it

No I don't have that icon but I do have a plugin status in my notification bar

That plug in status was what I was originally trying to remove and with messing around trying to find how to remove it, that little icon popped up so now instead of one icon I got two I'm trying to remove lol

You can long press on that notification and select block all notifications ...Is that what you did that gave you that icon?
..*Edit* actually when I selected "Show silently" it gave me that icon too...and when i select block all notifications it removed them both and I just checked and I still receive notifications on my gear fit 2 when the Gear plugins notifications are blocked on the phone

Nice you're the man it worked like a charm, my note 7 never showed either of those notifications and it was bugging me lol
