Gear s and not receiving notifications

I thought that if you have call forwarding on phone calls unanswered go to the gear.
This works perfectly.....

I also thought that if you have use remote connection checked then notifications such as email, stick messages will forward to phone as well?
I got none when I tested this. Just the call forwarding.

You cannot forward text to gear. Also you can check and reply to your gmail through the Oprah mini on your Gear. If you want to get a text on your gear when you will not have your main phone on you trust send that person a text from your gear and when that person goes to send you a text it will automatically go to your gear as it has started a new thread on their phone. This way you don't have to give your gear phone number out. Of course when you're not using your gear you will need to send that person a text from your main phone to start a new thread. Looks like this will be the next gear for us men.
