Gear S Laggy

I find when I do something on my gear I have to not only tap the screen 2 times for the tap to register the first tap but moving between apps and screens is a bit laggy, especially using S-voice. The Gear S2 seems a ton faster. Is this normal or is the S2 just better equipped? Anyone else having these issues? I just double tapped the home button and it took 5 seconds for the beep to start talking to S-voice.

You need to get it to the technical support of Samsung and ask them regarding it.

You can also try and reset the device (will wipe it) and uninstall 3rd party apps from your phone for the Gear S and see if that helps. Then, start re-installing the apps to see if something you installed is the culprit.

This would be my first step. Unlike a phone, the Gear S is not too hard to get back to where you had it.

Did you add any new apps just prior to the lag starting? Some apps are pretty RAM intensive and if they're not shutting down properly that could be where the lag is coming from. Standalone GPS app is one that comes to mind that caused that with mine. Once I removed that app my watch stopped lagging.
Sometimes just a reboot of the watch can help as well if it's been a long time since doing so.
