Gear S2 Battery and Gear Manager Issues

My Gear S2 battery lasts just 3-4 hrs if all permissions are granted to Gear Manager on my Note Edge mobile. If no permissions granted, meaning no phone/SMS/Location services on the watch, the battery lasts 10 hrs. Watch faces do not function on the Manager. Someone kindly help.
 
Those times are definately out of the ordinary.

I would uninstall and reinstall the gear manager from your phone, and do a reset on the watch. Something seems to not be communicating properly.
 
Is your watch the 3g/4g version, or the regular bluetooth?
If you're using the 3g/4g version, make sure you have it set to auto switch, rather than always connected to the network. Turn off wifi if you've got that turned on.

Do you have the always on display turned on?

Are you using a built in watch face, or a 3rd party one?

What is your brightness set to?
 
Remove contacts permission only and try it. Only thing you lose is caller identification.
 
In android application settings, go to Gear Plugin app and remove contacts permission.
