Gear s2 screen compared to Galaxy Watch (46mm)

Hi all, I'm still waiting on my new Galaxy Watch 46mm (stock issues in The Netherlands), so I will probably be able to answer this question myself next week, but I can't wait.

Can anyone tell me if the screen on the GW has improved compared to the GS2 screen?
Most reviews are very positive about the GW looking like a "normal" watch, does that mean the watch faces show more depth, meaning e.g. the hands look like floating above the watch face surface?

That will depend on the watch face you're using but yes it looks very much like a regular watch, it's my first wrist watch in over 15 years and I love it

I received my GW46mm BT two days ago.
To answer my own question: if it had been only the screen to convince me keeping it over the Gear S2... it would not be convincing enough.
But all other specs (battery life, good night mode, theatre mode, design, being able to call with the watch only, improved training support etc) make me keeping it anyway. Love the watch.
