Gear S2 Stopwatch

Anyone know why the stopwatch only goes for 60mins?? Is there a way to increase the stopwatch to continue past 60mins?

There are two alternative stopwatch apps in the Gear S store that might go longer than 60 minutes. I haven't tried them, but even if they don't, some of the small app developers in the store are very responsive to feature requests, so you could contact them.
