Gear S3 and Plantronics headset connected to S8+

I have a Gear S3, that I love, by the way. I have it connected via Bluetooth as well as 4G. I just bought a Plantronics Voyage 5200 headset. Every time I connect my headset, it kicks my Watch off of the bluetooth connection and it returns to "Standalone" mode.

Is there a way to use my headset and my watch at the same time?
