Android Central Question

I'm questioning how long I (we) can expect the bezel on the gear s3 to last. My understanding is that it is simply snapped onto the face of the watch, on top of 4 small ceramic ball bearings on top of 4 small springs. There is a very thing plastic guide ring inside with the purpose (I suspect) of simply reducing metal-to-metal contact. How long is a thin piece of plastic going to last before wearing out? I would hope the plastic ring isn't a necessary component to keeping the bezel attached. The bezel already seems a bit loose, mainly due to resting on top of bearings/springs. With the amount of use the bezel gets, and the added "play" allowed because of the bearings/springs, I have a hard time believing that the plastic ring won't wear out fairly quickly, thus compromising the bezel stability. Add the fact that the bezel is raised and exposed to catching on/bumping on things through daily use, it just seems like this bezel is inevitably designed to fall off in a matter of time. Thoughts? Experiences?

Would you like me to move this to the Gear S3 forum?

I've had mine since Nov. 2016 and it works just as good as it did then and I wear it every day. I'm hard on watchs, I'm always banging my arms on something and it shows no wear. It's very sturdy.

Mine has sounded loose when you tap it since the day I bought it in Dec 2016, but it never got loose or anything. Still functions perfectly.
