Might as well wait until T-mobile starts selling them. AT&T may be having pre-orders now but doesn't mean their customers will get it sooner than anyone else. Should be available everywhere on the 18th. Avoid the hassle and just wait for tmo if you really want the LTE version. What do you think the chances are that the AT&T version can be unlocked to work with TMo? I know it has an "e-SIM". I'm a T-Mo subscriber, so I have no knowledge or experience in unlocking AT&T devices, but it seems (according to AT&T's page) that the $350 price is full retail, so I thought there was a new regulation that requires carriers to unlock devices if you pay full retail?
Yes. They currently sell the S2, which also uses am eSIM. Their website also states they will carry the S3.I think the better question is does T-Mobile support e-sim technology?
Definitely looks like a winner...got one on preorder with AT&T. Note that there are 2 versions of the Frontier, a bluetooth only version and an LTE version. I verified this by going to Samsung's site and initiating a preorder, which forces you to choose between one of those two Frontier versions. Bluetooth version is $350, LTE is $400.
Yea you're completely wrong and this is what is confusing people. Each one is $350. I don't understand how this can be so confusing. Samsung's site clearly states Gear S3 Frontier then Gear S3 Frontier (AT&T).
