Got 2 questions, question 1:

Samsung pay, when trying to setup through the gear watch, gives a registration error, saying it failed to validate the card. Done this multiple times so far, and the card works fine with normal Samsung pay. Any ideas?

2, Number Sync from AT&T. I am on a family data plan, and when setting up number sync, it only sets up the phone for the main account holders number. At no point does it even allow me to switch it to my, or any other number on the account. Any ideas?

The card works fine though on normal Samsung pay. I even deleted and re-added it on the normal version. Its just the gear s3 version that won't work

A username and password for each Gear S3 has to be created, even though each device is still listed in the main account. The number of the watch will then be paired to the phone number you select. That way the ability to generate a code, to enable, or disable NumberSync can occur.

Right. They are independent. If the card won't register on your watch, call your bank.

Okie, I can't contact the bank because today they are closed, however I did some testing. I found that EVERY single card I tried, would NOT register. This includes Debit, Credit, from Fifth Third, Chase, Amex, and Barkley. Also, tried Visa Gift cards, and those didn't work. So I feel like this is less of a bank problem more and more now.

Reset the pay app on the watch.. It's a menu option in Samsung pay on the watch. You'll then start over registering each card as if you never had. That fixed a registration issue I had. The three dots at the the o'clock position when the app is open are the menu.

Tried that, even reset the watch, cleared the cache, tried different networks, cleared phone cache, etc etc. Could it be a problem on Samsung side? A server down?

Not likely.

Try resetting the pay app or deleting the cards in the gear pay app. Other than that, try giving it a rest for 24 hours.

When you reset the pay app on the watch and then add one card, where does it fail?

I tried deleting the App, and there are no cards in the gear pay app. As for the where does it all go wrong, the problem happens when I first try and enter a card. I go through the normal setup process, then it goes into "Validating Card Info". 5-45 seconds later, it returns a Registration failed, and never adds the card, and I have tried multiple baks, even called my bank, and they said it should work. I tried entering those exact cards in on my S7, and it works fine. I can NEVER get past the validating card in the gear app, always gives "Registration Failed".

I had the same problem registration failed on my watch while it was fine on the phone. I called samsung pay support and they walked me through the process of clearing cache then deleting all the data. Then re- entering each card and it worked.
