Gear S3 Outlook Notifications

I've been delighted with my new Note 10+ since I got it last week. Coming from a Note 9 I'm surprised how much more polished it feels.

One thing though: I get notifications on my gear S3, incoming calls which I can still answer on the watch, missed calls, text messages. Unfortunately, I'm not getting any outlook notifications whatsoever.

I've tried a few things, adding the sammy email app, updating it, and adding the microsoft activesync account, but nothing works. I can enable the email app for notifications, but this seems only to show gmail notifications, and obviously this won't show event notifications.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is this just waiting for a patch update or is there a proper fix for this?

Try this:

1. Open the "Galaxy Wearable app"
2. Click on Notifications
3. Click on "Manage notifications"
4. Ensure Outlook is enabled

Also make sure that in Phone Settings -> Notifications -> Outlook, and in the Outlook app -> settings -> Notifications that both are set to use sound. If the notification doesn't use sound it won't get to your watch.

Thanks bbgpsuser, I have all of those set. I'm wondering if there is something from the Note 9 restore that may have corrupted it.

Same is happening to me. I had a LG G6 and had no issues receiving the notifications on the Gear s3, but as soon as I moved to the Galaxy s10+, I no longer get notifications for Outlook. This is driving me crazy. I tried using the other mail apps, but they suck compared to the Outlook.

Any solutions or workarounds for this?

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I have removed the Outlook App 3 times and reset watch the same. Changed every setting for notifications that I can find or mentioned on the net.......but still no Outlook notifications on the S3. I have read about the Outlook watch face but cant find it anywhere. Also using Note 10 plus.....extremely frustrated.

I also have exactly the same problem ever since I moved from Note 9 to Note 10+. Getting all other notifications on my Gear S3 but no luck with outlook notifications even after making all sorts of efforts as you guys did. I called Samsung Customer Service twice but they were not able to find out the issue and eventually they washed their hands off stating this is a third party app, and as long as I'm getting notifications from other apps, means there is no issue with the phone or the watch software. I was very happy to upgrade from Note 9 to Note 10+, but only until I learnt I was not getting outlook notifications on my Gear S3 and it has been very frustrating since then.

I've been dealing with the same issue since I upgraded to my S10+. Zero Outlook notifications on my Gear S3. Very frustrating considering I bought the watch to avoid pulling my phone out to view notifications. I have a feeling it's in the Outlook side and not on Samsung. Someone shared an Excel sheet with me and I saw that on my watch, but zero emails.

Apparently, the issue is resolved now with a new galaxy Wearable software update. I installed the software update this morning and voila, I instantly started receiving outlook notifications on my Gear S3 from my Note 10 Plus. The current Galaxy Wearable software version now showing on my Note 10 Plus is R760XXU2ESF2/R7600XA2ESF2/.
