Thanks #gazzaabc, it worked for me. I've had the watch for about a year and I've been putting it on charge each evening before I went to sleep. This time I didn't wear it very long and it still had about a 91% charge, but I put it on charge prior to bed time. I saw the charging symbol briefly and figured all was normal. The next morning I tried to turn the watch on and nothing happened, just a black screen. I tried a different charging cradle, cable, cleaning the contacts but still nothing. I then took it apart and removed the battery, thinking that somehow it went bad but when I measure the voltage, I got about 3.8 volts which is about normal. I then figured that the watch just died, but I made another Google search and found your finding. I figured that I didn't have anything to lose so I tried it and it worked! It's weird since the watch was at 91% charge. Once I got it to work, after just a few minutes of being connect to the laptop, I disconnected the charging cradle and the watch continued to work. I even tried to turn it off and on and everything is still working. I guess it's just one of those things. So thanks. It saved me from purchasing another smart watch.
