Gears 3 battery problem

Ok so after the update my battery is worse with out even using it last only a few hours is there a way to fix this

Many a thread on this. No fix. I'm sending mine back to T-Mobile for a full refund. The entire smartwatch industry, at least for me, is dead. Going back to using my phone for the time.

I had this issue a couple of times. What would happen is I would turn off the watch but it would still show "connected" on my phone in my notification bar via the Samsung Gear app. So despite turning off the watch, it wasn't completely "off" so to speak.. this happened a couple of times, but now I just make sure it shows "disconnected" and I have had zero problems since (if it fails to disconnect, I manually disconnect it).
