General feelings on the 10?

I still use my M8 as my 'entertainment' phone. I think one of the reason my m8 battery died to quickly was because I simply used it soo much playing games and other battery intensive things. I still use my m8 for games and streaming for long periods and YouTube and use my 10 for work, family and Tapatalk lol. It means my HTC 10 battery will last longer. I don't mean to say all this to say the HTC 10 is not good, it is, i simply use the M8 as my secondary media device which just so helps as a strategy to lengthen the battery life of my HTC 10.

But do you believe I should buy a HTC 10 for 500 euros now or wait for the "supposedly coming" HTC 10 in March?
I love my M8 almost as much as when I got it 2,5 years ago but my top speaker is distorting the sound. Already replaced the battery and the guy replaced te speaker as well but the sound keeps distorting when in high volumes, which is a pity since I use the speakers a lot and it´s one of the thighs I love most about it.
How do you compare the speakers between the 2? What about performance? What do you miss on the M8? Basically, do you recommend me to upgrade?

Cheers

Interesting, well I if the HTC 11 comes out in March then I would be tempted to wait. But is the HTC 11 coming out in March? No one seems sure when the HTC 11 is coming out exactly it seems... One thing is for sure I was watching a you tube review and they mentioned the most important thing for a phone is the size of the RAM. They mentioned that chipsets make a difference but not as much as the size of the RAM. If the next HTC phone comes with 6 gb of RAM then I would be tempted to wait for the HTC 11. However, as I said no one knows at the moment what direction HTC11 is going in at the moment. I personally loved the ir blaster and dual stereo speakers of the M8 both of which have been removed since. HTC 10 is like a solid dependable phone, if you go for it you will not be disappointed. However, if I'm honest, It's a little boring compared to the HTC M8. It does everything well and the headphone tuning setup is cool but that's about it. If you can wait a bit I would wait to see if HTC are going to bring a little more fun ideas back to their phones... Sorry if I'm not helpful but and long post just trying to be honest as possible.

Here is the YouTube video about the importance of RAM over chipset if you're interested.

No, by the contrary, you´ve been very helpful, thanks :)
I think I will live with the speaker distortion a little longer...

Cheers
