Hello,

To start, hope you are all enjoying the Note 8 as much as I am. I went from the Note 5 to the Pixel XL (because the Note 7 issues) and now to the Note 8. Everything is awesome so far and I'm starting to get used to it.

However, I have 2 questions I couldn't find by doing a simple Google search and I'm sure it's because the phone is new or maybe it's not possible quite yet. The questions are as followed..

1) How do I organize apps in app folders on the home screen alphabetically?
2) How do I have newly installed apps go to my main home screen instead of adding a new screen and then having to drag it over to the home screen?

Thanks!

at the top right hand corner of your app draw is where you'll hit the icon to set up your apps in alphabet order . as long as you're home screen isn't full a new install will go there first . put obviously if is full ...well that's the law of physics it'll go to the next page that has a opening

1. If you have folders on your screens, the apps can't be alphabetized. But you can move them around to alphabetized them.

2. Make sure you have you're home screen chosen as your home screen.
If the app goes elsewhere, long press and remove the app from the screen you don't want it on. Go to the screen you do want it on. Go to the app drawer and long press. It will be on that screen.

That's for the app drawer only, not the apps within folders on my home screen.

So to answer my question to both 1 and 2 is it's not possible on the TouchWiz Launcher.

I just went to the dots in the top left corner and selected sort to put them in alphabetical order.

Yes, this sorts the applications in your app drawer (when you slide up), not the applications on your home screen if you have them inside folders. I'm aware Nova Launcher does this, but I'd prefer to stick to TouchWiz.
