Geriatric OTA Update Support??

Does anyone know how long OTA Updates are supported on older phones like my Galaxy Note 3 on the Verizon network?? ☝

Usually 2 or 3 updates. I doubt if we'll see anything beyond 5.0.1, unfortunately (other than the Samsung updates, which they've now promised us).
