Gesture Search now works on Nexus 7

I saw a few complaining about no gesture search for nexus 7. right now the app is update to work on nexus 7.

gesture search was previously not compatible with Nexus 7. i saw a few complain about it being not compatible but i dont remember what thread.

I went to the play store in it still says it's not compatible at the top of the screen

thats totally weired. this is the whats new section. maybe just US? i dont know.

What's in this version:
Now available on Android tablets such as Nexus 7.
Faster search performance for large user data set.
Support for searching multilingual contents using romanization, including Simplified Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.
The action for contacts is now customizable, e.g., changing calling to messaging.
Contacts without phone numbers now became searchable.
More UI improvements.

You're not missing much. It installed fine on my N7 but then I only get an icon on the home screen that has a few settings you can select. I can't for the life of me get gesture to open or fine a way to get the gesture black screen you are suppose to be able to search from.
