I've been working this afternoon on installing a ROM. I've got my phone rooted, and the ROM Manager installed. But I can't get the flash_image or Xionia onto the sdcard using the Android SDK. I have it installed, and I can get it to launch in Terminal, but when I give it a command to push the flash_image, it fails with "permission denied."
Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to install the SDK correctly so that it has needed permissions, or what I need to do to escalate my own permissions? I tried "sudo" but that didn't do anything.
I know only a little about working in Unix-type environments, and that's only based on some minor goofing around.
