I was just wondering if it was possible to get the actual gb keyboard on my froyo rom based off of Harmonia 1.3.... like actually replace the stock kb with the gb kb? why wouldnt i be possible to just go into recovery and flash something like gbkb.zip? just wondering... if not what is the best way to emulate the gb kb?

btw so i dont need to make a new thread.... my email notifications are bugged, i get the tone but more often then not the email icon either wont appear at all or will come up and then go away... i have both gmail and email installed...

nvm i forgot to turn off the stock email notifications, works fine now i think based off of a couple test emails...

There you go and enjoy, it only took a second to find in the market why didn't you check there first?

one apps settings could override anothers if they do the same thing (email)

ive had weird stuff like that happen.

for the GB keyboard, you can get it from the market. i use it every time i test a froyo rom. it works well, but on CM7 i make each key press vibration at its maximum strength and i cant seem to change that in froyo, so typing feels weird.

i didnt think this was the exact same thing, sorry lol i thought it was just a replica but not as good... ill try this i guess then

thanks! just tried it and its great, much better then that smart keyboard app imo, although i still cant type as good as on my ipod this is a drastic improvement... sidenote: any way i can use the itouch as a bluetooth keyboard?

FYI the paid version of that Gingerbread keyboard allows some customization. For $1.99, it can't hurt to give it a try to see if you can get it more to your liking.
